1. The first ACTIVATE North Aboriginal youth leadership conference started on Wednesday, March 24 2010 in Yellowknife. 35 youth from all over Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon have gathered together to share their experience and passion for community action. Until March 28, the youth will participate in community planning and project management workshops, take part in traditional games and explore the diversity of cultures and realities across the North.
